Wahoos from 23 states converged in Denver on August 31st, 2007, for a weekend-long celebration surrounding Virginia's season-opening football game at Wyoming.  Co-sponsored by the Virginia Athletics Foundation (VAF) and the UVaClub of Denver, the festivities kicked off with a party at LoDo's Bar and Grill, where Virginia alumni, families, and fans caught up with old friends, met new ones, and mingled with Athletics Director Craig Littlepage and U.Va. Football alums Ted Jeffries and Shawn Moore.  The following day, over 1000 'Hoos made their way up to Laramie, WY for the game, with over 400 gathering at a VAF-sponsored U.Va. tailgate.  In spite of the remote location, attendance numbers were through the roof this year.  On this exciting game weekend, the UVaClub of Denver shone as host club in an ongoing partnership between UVaClubs and the Virginia Athletics Foundation.
